Dr. Walter Toller DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Walter Toller, DNP, PMHNP-BC, is a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive training and expertise in treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and in various clinical settings, ranging from hospitals to outpatient clinics. He earned honors from Walden University’s distinguished Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Program, where he excelled academically as a member of the Honors Society, maintaining an impressive 3.9 GPA. Additionally, Dr. Toller achieved his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) from Chatham University in 2022.

Currently, Dr. Toller is engaged in a significant DNP project focused on addressing the Opioid Crisis through a spiritual lens. His dedication to holistic care extends beyond conventional medical practice, embodying a humanistic philosophy that integrates spiritual well-being with physical health. With a steadfast commitment to individualized and comprehensive patient care, Dr. Toller draws upon 28 years of nursing experience, including a distinguished tenure in the United States Army where he proudly served his country for nine years.

Dr. Toller is a distinguished member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional excellence and advancement in the field of psychiatric nursing. His upbringing in a disadvantaged neighborhood of Baltimore city has instilled in him a deep-seated passion for giving back to his community. Driven by his personal experiences, he is dedicated to helping individuals cope with mental health challenges and conquer substance abuse issues.
